Facilities

The College has two buildings, one at ul. Krakowska 30 and the other at ul. Legionów 25.

The building A (at ul. Krakowska 30) contains:

  • 14 lecture rooms,
  • 2 auditoriums for 110 people each,
  • 2 computer laboratories,
  • training room for psychotherapy and pedagogical therapy classes,
  • library with two reading roms,
  • administration rooms, director's office and student secretariats.


Buildng B

The auditoriums have top-class audiovisual equipment, which allows the lecturers to employ state-of-the-art methods of visualisation (video projectors matrix connections to other lecture rooms, desktop computers or notebooks, digital cameras, VCR, DVD, visualisers and a stationary camcorder, WiFi AccessPoints, video-over-IP).
One auditorium has also equipment for simultaneous interpreting in two languages at once. Full multimedia audiovisual equipment is also available in five lecture rooms.

It is possible to interconnect up to five auditoriums/lecture rooms with video and voice over IP, to increase capacity.

The two multimedia computer laboratories in the building have 20 and 18 multimedia computers, with additional equipment available (scanners, Web cams, sound, digital cameras, etc.). Both laboratories and all classrooms are connected by a LAN network, with direct Web access from each room.
Internet can be accessed also from computers situated in reading-rooms and in main hall.
Two Hot Spots make possible accessing Internet also through WiFi - from laptops or palmtops.

The building has all modern disabled access facilities (ramp, lift, wheelchair platform, wheelchair accessible toilets).

The building B (at ul. Legionów 25) contains:

  • two multimedia computer laboratories (17 and 13 PCs)
  • full multimedia audiovisual lecture room,
  • interactive whiteboard,
  • several classrooms,

The College owns a Moodle based e-learning platform, which is used extensively during classes and workshops.

Extra courses and activities The College offers a variety of extra courses and activities beyond the core curriculum. These make an opportunity for our students to gain additional qualifications that will increase their value on the job market. Our offer includes:

  • sign language courses,
  • phoniatrics courses,
  • use of modern information technologies,
  • courses for holiday camp counsellors,
  • effective learning courses,
  • optional classes,
  • participation in research projects,
  • international contacts,
  • get-together camps.
